A private advisory group for women leading 7 and 8-figure businesses. Limited to 12 members. By application only.
We are not currently accepting new members. Register your interest to be notified when a place becomes available.
You didn't build your business by accident. But somewhere between the vision that drives you and the day-to-day demands of running it, the space to think strategically — clearly, honestly, with the right people around you — has become the thing you need most.
And yet.
The higher you climb, the fewer people truly get it. The financial decisions get bigger. The leadership challenges get more nuanced. The loneliness gets quieter but heavier.
You don't need more content. You don't need another program. You need a room of peers who are doing the same work at the same level — and a structure that makes sure you actually do the strategic thinking your business demands.
HerBusiness Boardroom is not a course, a mastermind, or a coaching program. It's a high-level advisory and leadership environment — part boardroom, part think tank, part trusted inner circle.
Facilitated by PJ (Peter Johnston), Boardroom brings together a curated group of women business owners who are ready to work on their business with the kind of rigour, honesty, and strategic depth that simply isn't available elsewhere.
At its heart, Boardroom exists to shift your decision-making from reactionary to intentional — building the habits, financial literacy, and leadership capability that compound into transformational growth.
Boardroom is designed to create rhythm and momentum in the areas that matter most: money, people, leadership, mindset, vision, and strategy.
Four immersive 1–2 day working sessions per year. Real strategic work with the full group, not surface-level updates.
Eight 120-minute sessions keep momentum going. Every meeting starts with accountability on your goals and numbers.
Six dedicated private sessions per year to work through challenges and opportunities specific to your business.
24/7 access to the collective intelligence of the room via a dedicated private messaging group. No social media noise.
Boardroom is not built on the idea that one person has all the answers. Every woman in the room brings her own hard-won expertise, insight, and perspective. The collective intelligence of the group is one of its most powerful assets.
You'll receive honest, informed input on your biggest decisions. And you'll contribute the same for others. That exchange — of experience, of challenge, of genuine support — is what makes this room unlike any other.
What Boardroom is not: it's not therapy. It's not a substitute for your accountant, your lawyer, or your financial adviser. It's the place where you develop the clarity and confidence to have better conversations with all of them.
Boardroom is for women business owners who have built something significant and want to take it further — with intention, strategy, and support.
You might be right for this room if:
If you've outgrown general business groups and you're looking for depth, rigour, and a room of peers who are equally committed to growth — this may be what you've been looking for.
Boardroom is capped at twelve members.
This isn't a number we arrived at by accident. It's the size that allows every woman in the room to be seen, heard, and held accountable. Large enough for diverse perspectives, small enough that nothing gets lost.
Members come from across Australia and New Zealand, leading businesses in sectors ranging from professional services and technology to health care and adventure tourism. What they share is a commitment to growth, a willingness to be honest, and a determination to build something extraordinary.
Current members get first right of renewal. New places only open when a seat becomes available.
PJ has spent over 15 years mentoring women business owners through HerBusiness. He founded Boardroom after recognising that the women at the highest level needed something different — not more teaching, but a structured, habitual environment to work on the things that actually move the needle: strategy, money, people, leadership, and mindset.
He brings experience as a business owner himself — including having been through the process of preparing and selling a business — along with a direct, warm, and deeply committed approach to helping each member grow as a leader and a strategist.
PJ doesn't position himself as having all the answers. He creates the structure, asks the hard questions, and ensures the room stays focused on what matters most.
Boardroom is one of the main reasons my business has continued to grow in the past 12 months. The discipline of regular meetings, reporting and accountability isn't something I can get anywhere else, as a small business owner with a micro team.

My business has had its biggest year yet and I believe that it is because of the discipline of focusing on the numbers as well as learning new ways to lead and manage teams.

The conversations are rich and challenge us to higher level thinking. Well intentioned feedback is given — because we all know each other's businesses well enough to feel confident to offer opinion or own experience. The accountability around figures is also a game changer.

Build my confidence in understanding my financials at a deeper level so I have a more strategic view. The range of topics generated across the group covering business, leadership, workforce and 'life' has broadened my own knowledge and added to my own skills bank.

Being part of the Boardroom helped me successfully sell my business through all the support in navigating the many steps over a year or so. It has been so comforting being able to run questions, scenarios, agendas, contracts and issues past the group, plus the one-on-one mentoring.

If you're committed to doing the work, offering support, and providing guidance while collaborating with women who share similar business and life goals, this is an opportunity worth considering.

Boardroom operates on an annual membership, January to December. Membership is by application and interview only.
